Panchami Manoo Ukil is an educator, birdwatcher, conservationist, travel writer and wildlife photographer. She is passionate about inculcating conservation ethics in the next generation. As founder of The Bhubaneswar Bird Walks, she acquaints children with natural habitats, flora and fauna in order to create awareness in them about the interconnectedness in the universe. She is also deeply passionate about everything Odia - handlooms, monuments, culture and tradition. Panchami is currently Founder Trustee, Vice Chairperson and School Leader of The DN Wisdom Tree Global School, a school that promises to revolutionise the learning landscape with a specially curated curriculum that goes beyond the boundaries of conservative curriculums and pedagogy.
