Ramahari Jena is a leading light of the Odia art scene and was the first Odia Artist to receive National Academy Award by Lalit Kala Akademi. He completed his bachelor's of Fine Art in Ist Class from Berhampur University, Orissa, 1985 and was a Visiting Fellow,Printmaking Department, Glasgow School of Art, Glasgow. 1998. His work has been displayed at numerous national and international exhibitions including Bharat BhavanTriennale of Graphic Art (1992-95), Ist Egyptian International Print Triennale, Cairo 1993 and 'A.R.K.S.'Gallery London 1998. He has numerous publications to his credit and is passionately interested in literature, Photography and book designing amonghis many interests.
