Dr. Kruthiventi Sreenivasa Rao(b.1965) is a thinker, scholar, literary expert, administrator with the experience of over three decades in several position of literary management and administration of national level literary institution. He is the Secretary of Sahitya Akademi, India's premier Institution of Letters since February 2013 and represented Sahitya Akademi at many International platforms including the General Assembly of Union Academique Internationale at Brussels and has led literary exchange delegations to many countries across the world and also the literary delegations to Festival of India Abroad in many countries. He is the author of Myths, Plays & Girish Karnad. His forthcoming titles include The Prophecies of Brahmangaru: Selected Verses from Kalajnanam and Perceptions & Perspectives: Essays on Indian Literature. He has translated a Children's dictionary from English to Telugu. He regularly gives talks / interviews in All India Radio and Doordarshan, Delhi. He is the recipient of Delhi Telugu Akademi Award for 2011. Dr. Rao has been a jury member in many important literary awards and programmes.
