Annemarie Ní Churreáin

Annemarie Ní Churreáin is a poet from the Gaeltacht region of northwest Ireland. The poems featured in this anthology were first published in her debut collection Bloodroot (Doire Press, 2017). Ní Churreáin is also author of Town (The Salvage Press, 2018) and The Poison Glen (The Gallery Press, 2021). She is a recipient of the Irish Arts Council’s Next Generation Artist Award and a co-recipient of The Markievicz Award. She is a former literature fellow of Akademie Schloss Solitude in Germany and The Jack Kerouac House in Florida. Ní Churreáin is the current 2022 Decades of Centenaries Artist in Residence at the Donegal County Archives Service.
