Dr. Mrutyunjaya Rath, presently working as a lecturer in English at KBDAV College, NIRAKARPUR, a premier Degree college in the state Odisha , holds Ph.D degree from Utkal University, Vani Bihar . He has been teaching both language and literature for over two decades. Besides, Dr. Rath is a renowned Anchor, Moderater and Orator. He has been compering in festivals of national and international repute which include Konark festival, Mukteswar dance festival, International Odissi dance festival, Rajarani festival, Central Sangeeta Natak Academy Festivals, IITF programme New Delhi and many more. He is a familiar face on Door Darsan presenting different shows and a popular moderator for Odisha Sahitya Academy and for the Dept of Odia language literature and culture, Govt of Odisha. Dr. Rath is a creative artist and critic on performing arts. His research articles on Music and Dance and on Language and Literature are published in different journals. He has conducted innumerable stage shows to the appreciation of all concerned. Dr. Rath is credited to have compared for different programmes graced by the President of India, The Vice President, The Prime Minister, Union Govt Ministers, Governors and Chief Ministers of different states. For about a decade he has been giving Live commentary on Door Darsan in the famous Car festival of Lord Jagannath.
